Terms and Conditions for Foxy Attire
ELIGIBILITY TO PURCHASE PRODUCTS
All products on the website are available for worldwide sale.
PRICING
All prices are quoted in UK Pounds Sterling inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate, and goods are sold under English law. Where we notify you that goods are not in stock, and offer to place a specific forward order for you from our suppliers, this is subject to the possibility that the price may increase from that advertised. We will immediately notify you if our suppliers no longer have the item you want at the advertised price, and will take your instructions on whether to order at the higher price, or to stop the order.
POSTAGE
All items within the UK are postage free!
For items outside the UK please contact us for a price. Many items will need to be weighed so we don't over-charge you.
PACKAGING
All items will come with the appropriate manufacturer’s protective packaging or our own packaging most appropriate to the individual item.
PRODUCT ENQUIRES
We make every effort to offer only merchandise sizes and colours that are available and in stock. If a size or colour is not available, we will notify you on receipt of your order, but may be able to place a specific forward order for you from our suppliers, subject to price implications. Occasionally, when items are very popular and additional inventory is available, we may accept back orders knowing that additional inventory will soon arrive.
Many of our products are custom/hand-made so are likely to be unique in terms of exact size, finish and colour. Where appropriate, we are happy to help and advise customers, although we cannot be held responsible for your decisions made when choosing a size, colour or finish of a product.
Your order is only accepted by us once we have taken payment from you.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES - Cancellation Rights & Returns
If you live in the United Kingdom or another European Union country, you have a legal right to cancel your order after you have received and inspected the goods. Please note that in the case of clothes and accessories, "inspect" means examine, and does not permit you or your horse to wear and use the items. Please see out item specific guidance below.
Please note that no statutory cancellation rights apply to goods that have been made specifically to your requirements, design or measurements.
Please note that you are under a legal duty to take care of the product, and this includes all packaging and labelling. Care must be taken to ensure that the goods remain in the best possible condition.
Please take particular care with items which are easily damaged. If you need guidance on the best way to try any item without damaging it, please contact us. When trying on goods it should be reasonably apparent before fully trying on the goods whether they are likely to fit or not and you should not stretch goods or force zips or fastenings as this may damage the goods and cause injury to you or your horse.
Should you decide to return the goods you must notify us of cancellation in writing (by post to the address on the contact page, or by email). Following cancellation you are under a legal duty not to use the goods, and to take care of them.
You must return the goods to us securely packaged, in the condition in which they were received, at your cost, as soon as possible, with as much of their original packaging and their original paperwork as possible. We will refund to you, within 30 working days of receiving the goods, the sums paid by you in relation to them.
If you do not return the goods within 21 days of your cancellation notice, we may chose to recover the goods from you, and if we do so, to charge you for the cost of doing so. If, despite sending a cancellation notice, you do not return the goods or fail to make them available for collection within 30 days of your notice of cancellation, you will be deemed to have accepted the goods, at which point a new purchase contract will be made, and if we have already granted a refund, you will be re-charged for your order at the price set out on the web site.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Returns – Suggestions:
You may return goods by mail to the address on the contacts page. We recommend that you send your goods back by recorded delivery or a secure delivery method which requires a signature on delivery, as we cannot be held responsible for it being lost or damaged before it arrives to us.
Please include with the goods a copy of your internet invoice, and your name, address, e-mail address, order number, and reason for return. This enables us to identify the transaction and speeds up the process, and prevents fraudulent returns.
Where you and we agree that an exchange of goods is appropriate, we reserve the right to charge you our costs for posting the exchange goods to you and you should include the appropriate postage amount for the outgoing postage of an exchanged item, or provide written authority for us to take the money from your account. Similarly, where the goods are returned to us as undelivered by your postal service, and we agree to re-send them to you, you will have to pay the additional postage costs.
If you fail to return packaging which is an integral part of the overall product (for example branded packaging on high value items) then you will not have returned all of the goods, and we reserve the right to recover the cost of replacement from you and where there is evidence of dishonesty, to refer the matter to the police.
Where goods are returned in a damaged, worn or dirty condition, which indicates that they have been worn or used after you have had a reasonable chance to inspect them on receipt, we will consider you to be in breach of your legal duty to take reasonable care of the goods and reserve the right to recover appropriate sums from you.
If you do not comply with your obligations above, we may make a reasonable charge to cover any costs that we incur (for example in respect of wasted collection journeys or for goods that you have wrongly used, damaged, dirtied, or lost).
We reserve the right to amend this returns policy without notice.
ITEM SPECIFIC GUIDANCE
DAMAGED GOODS
If you should receive an item that is not in perfect condition or was damaged in shipping, please immediately notify us by emailing us as per the contact page.
SHIPPING
All goods are shipped either by registered UK delivery, registered INTERNATIONAL airmail or via our courier service. All methods will require a signature on receipt. Unfortunately we are not able to control the vagaries of the postal service, but would recommend that on average you allow up to 3 business days for UK orders and up to 10 business days for all international orders from the time of despatch. UK shipping rate is per order and will not change however many items you order.
THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS DO NOT AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS.
We hope that you are pleased with your purchase from Foxy Attire. However, we do understand that sometimes there will be reasons why you wish to return your goods.
If You Have Changed Your Mind
If you have changed your mind and you are a private customer (not applicable to business customers), and the goods have not been in your possession for over 365 days, then you are entitled to return the goods to us for a full refund on condition that you take reasonable care of the goods until they are returned to us. In particular this means that you will:

Return in good condition all packaging and user manuals

Return the goods in a condition that would enable Foxy Attire to resell them as new.

Not try on riding wear in a way which will leave the goods creased or grubby
*
Not try items on your horse which will leave hairs or marks on the items
Goods Damaged in Transit
If your goods were damaged in transit, we request that you report it to us within 3 days. If goods are visibly damaged on receipt, please sign the delivery stating the damage or refuse to accept the parcel. Once the damaged goods have been received we'll send out replacements.
Goods Faulty Within 6 Months
If you are reporting faulty goods within 6 months of receipt you maybe entitled to a repair or a replacement. If we cannot do either of these we will refund your money but if the products have been used we may deduct a percentage for you benefiting from this use.
Please note that the cost of returning these items is the responsibility of the customer.
